Scope

This standard specifies the principle and test method for determining the content of residual volatile methylcyclosiloxanes D4 (octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane) to D10 (twomethylcyclodecansiloxane) in silicone rubber raw materials by gas chromatography.
This standard is applicable to silicone rubber raw materials, and the minimum detection limit of methylcyclosiloxanes (D4 to D10) single components is 50 mg/kg.
