Scope

This part of GB/T 14048 specifies the requirements for PCB wiring terminal strips primarily used in industrial or similar applications. Copper conductors are installed or fixed on printed circuit boards by soldering, press-fitting, or equivalent methods, thereby forming electrical or mechanical connections between the two. This part is applicable to circuits with a rated voltage of not more than 1,000 V AC, a frequency of up to 1,000 Hz, or a DC voltage of not more than 1,500 V, and is used to connect processed or unprocessed copper conductors with a cross-sectional area of 0.05 mm2 to 300 mm2 (AWG30/600 kcmil) on PCB wiring terminal strips.
