Scope

This part of GB/T 17850 specifies the particle size range, apparent density, Mohs hardness, moisture content, electrical conductivity of water-leached solution, and water-soluble chloride content of fused alumina abrasives used for jet cleaning.
The requirements specified in this part are only applicable to unused abrasives, not to used ones.
The test methods for non-metallic abrasives used for jet cleaning are described in various parts of ISO 11127.
