This document describes the method for determining the content of ash, silicon, potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminum, and titanium impurities in carbon fiber and its precursor filaments.
This document is applicable to carbon fiber products such as carbon fiber bundles, long filaments, short fibers, and woven and braided fabrics, as well as carbon fiber precursor filaments.
