GB/T 9766.2-2024 Test method for tyre valves—Part 2:Rubber base valves test method

Scope

This document specifies the testing equipment and instruments for the valve nozzles of rubber seats (hereinafter referred to as valve nozzles), appearance inspection, throat diameter and the position of the conical surface, as well as the measurement of the angles of the conical holes in the core cavities of No. 1, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5C. It also covers the measurement of the pitch diameter and major diameter of the external thread, as well as the pitch diameter and minor diameter of the internal thread, and the depth dimension. Additionally, it includes the testing of sealing performance, the adhesion strength between rubber and metal, the determination of the adhesion rate, and the measurement of the edge thickness of the rubber seat. This document applies to the testing of valve nozzles used in inner tubes of heavy-duty trucks, industrial vehicles, agricultural vehicles, construction machinery, motorcycles, electric bicycles, and rickshaws. It does not apply to the testing of valve nozzles for aviation tires.
