Basic Information

Standard Code: GB/T 31527-2015
Standard Type: National standards
Standard Status: Active
is_force_gb: no
CCS Name: \nTest methods for the physical properties of metals
ICS Name: Comprehensive Testing of Metal Materials

Scope

This standard specifies the room-temperature tensile test method for NbTi/Cu composite superconducting wires.
This test method is used to measure the elastic modulus, the prescribed plastic elongation strength (generated by the yielding of Cu in the composite) and the tensile strength.
The elongation after fracture and the second-type prescribed plastic elongation strength defined by the yielding of NbTi in the component are for reference only (see A.1 and A.2).
This standard is applicable to the testing of uninsulated specimens with a cross-sectional area of 0.15 mm2 to 2 mm2 and a copper-to-NbTi ratio of 1.0 to 8.0, which are either circular or rectangular in cross-section.
