Scope

This standard specifies the test method, test requirements, test procedures, and data processing for determining the original filtration efficiency of fuel filters using the single-pass method with particles of specified particle size. This standard is applicable to engine fuel filters (hereinafter referred to as "filters"), and other filters used for fuel filtration can also be used as a reference. To meet the requirements of the single-pass test under different test flow rates of fuel filters, a filter test bench should be reasonably selected according to its flow rate.
