Scope

This part of GB 10395 specifies the safety requirements for winches installed on forestry machinery and agricultural machinery used in forestry production.
This part only applies to logging winches installed on self-propelled forestry machinery (such as log loaders and log haulers) and winches installed on agricultural machinery used in forestry production, and does not apply to winches used in cableway logging systems.
GB 10395.1 provides general principles for safety technical requirements.
In addition to meeting the requirements of this part, logging winches should also meet the requirements specified in GB 10395.1.
