Scope
1.1 This part applies to the electromagnetic immunity of household appliances and similar devices, electric toys, and power tools. For single-phase appliances connected to the phase line and the neutral line, the rated voltage shall not exceed 250 V, and for other appliances, it shall not exceed 480 V.
The appliances may be equipped with motors, electric heating elements, or both, and may contain electrical circuits or electronic circuits. They can be powered by mains electricity, transformers, batteries, or other power sources.
