This standard specifies the dimensions, applications, tests, and requirements of the 7-core standard type (12 N) electrical connectors with a nominal voltage of 12 V between tractors and trailers. Note: If the 7-core electrical connectors cannot meet the usage requirements, the 13-core electrical connectors specified in GB/T 20718 can be used to replace the combination of 7-core electrical connectors specified in this standard and ISO 3732.
