Scope
This standard applies to rotating electric motors with slots that have anti-corona layers and a voltage rating of 6kV or higher, or to molded coils. The measurement methods in this standard also apply to motors without anti-corona layers in the slots, but the test results may vary. This standard does not address this evaluation.
