Scope
This part of GB/T 20833 specifies the general basic specifications for off-line partial discharge measurement of the stator winding insulation of rotating motors (referred to as motors) when tested with an AC voltage of up to 400 Hz, including:
—— Measurement methods and instruments;
—— Arrangement of the test circuit;
—— Standardization of the test procedures;
—— Reduction of noise;
—— Preparation of test result documents;
—— Evaluation of test results.
This part is applicable to motors with anti-corona-treated slots or molded coils. This part is generally effective for motors with a rated voltage of 6 kV or higher. The measurement methods described in this part can also be applied to motors without anti-corona-treated slots, but the measurement results may vary, which is beyond the scope of this part.
