Scope

This part of GB/T 28387 specifies the safety requirements for bookbinding, paper processing, and finishing machinery. This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 28387.1—2012 to jointly determine all major hazards when using bookbinding, paper processing, and finishing machinery under the conditions specified by the manufacturer (see Chapter 4). The special requirements in this part take precedence over the corresponding requirements in GB/T 28387.1—2012.
This part does not address the hazards caused by machine noise. These hazards are generally covered in GB/T 28387.1—2012, but this part specifies some noise reduction measures for folding machines, envelope production machines, and hygiene product machines.
