Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for polytetrafluoroethylene filament yarn.
This standard applies to polytetrafluoroethylene monofilament yarn and stranded yarn made from monofilament yarn by stranding and twisting. The monofilament yarn has a density range of 55 dtex to 2,000 dtex. Other specifications of polytetrafluoroethylene filament yarn can be used for reference.
