Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for polyvinyl chloride/polyethylene terephthalate (PVC/PET) composite coated yarns (hereinafter referred to as PVC/PET composite coated yarns).
This standard applies to PVC/PET composite coated yarns with a linear density of 1000.0 dtex to 46,000.0 dtex and a diameter of approximately 0.20 mm to 3.00 mm. Other PVC/PET composite coated yarns may be used as a reference.
