GA/T 999-2012 Test method for verifying field performance of smoke management system—Hot smoke test
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the test devices, test procedures, and safety protection requirements necessary for testing building smoke control systems using the hot smoke test method, without damaging the building structure and internal facilities and equipment, as well as the methods for generating quantitative smoke and determining the scale of the hot smoke test fire.
This standard applies to hot smoke tests conducted in buildings with special spatial structures and complex smoke control system designs, such as atriums, factories, warehouses, department stores, shopping centers, complex office buildings, sports and entertainment centers, and other public buildings with high population densities, as well as transportation hub buildings such as tunnels, subways, stations, and air terminals, and large underground buildings.
The relevant data from the hot smoke test can also be used to verify the smoke flow simulation software.
