Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, performance parameters, insulation levels, and external insulation air gaps of 330 kV and 500 kV oil-immersed parallel reactors (hereinafter referred to as reactors), as well as technical requirements, test items and requirements, marking, lifting, packaging, transportation, and storage. In Appendix A, the technical parameters and requirements of the neutral point grounding reactors used with 330 kV and 500 kV parallel reactors are specified.
This standard applies to single-phase oil-immersed parallel reactors with a rated frequency of 50 Hz, a voltage level of 330 kV, and a rated capacity of 10 Mvar to 50 Mvar, as well as to the 330 kV and 500 kV parallel reactors used with the neutral point grounding reactors specified in Appendix A.
Note: Three-phase oil-immersed parallel reactors can refer to this standard for use.
