Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for emergency starting cables for road vehicles (hereinafter referred to as starting cables).
This standard applies to starting cables with a nominal voltage of 12 V or 24 V and a starting current not exceeding 750 A.
