Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for potassium magnesium sulfate fertilizer. This standard applies to potassium magnesium sulfate fertilizer products containing magnesium and sulfur, which are extracted only by physical methods from salt lake brine or solid potassium magnesium salt mines, or directly removed from impurities. It does not apply to products made by mixing potassium sulfate and magnesium compounds.
