Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, code and model, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, user's manual, packaging, transportation, and storage of electric rolling doors. This standard applies to electric rolling doors used for opening and closing rolling doors in industrial and civil buildings (hereinafter referred to as rolling doors). This standard does not apply to rolling doors used for fire and explosion prevention, nor to color steel whole-plate rolling doors and tubular motor rolling doors.
