Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the stability of water-in-oil emulsions of surfactants under different temperature changes. This standard is applicable to the determination of the stability of surfactant water-in-oil emulsions during use and storage, both when they are heated to a constant temperature and when they undergo temperature cycling between 21°C ± 3°C and -18°C ± 1.5°C at room temperature.
