Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for graduation lines, fonts and symbols of optical graduation parts for photoelectric instruments, surface defects, test methods, and markings on drawings.
This standard applies to glass graduation plates (mirrors), graduation rulers, grid plates, and dials. Other types of optical graduation parts can be used as reference.
This standard does not apply to grating rulers, grating plates, coding plates, and resolution plates, etc.
