Scope

This standard specifies the definition of steel plates and steel strips resistant to sulfuric acid dew-point corrosion, the content of orders, the method of marking grades, dimensions, shapes, weights and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to steel plates resistant to sulfuric acid dew-point corrosion with a thickness of not more than 40 mm, and steel strips resistant to sulfuric acid dew-point corrosion with a thickness of not more than 25.4 mm, used in power plant chimneys, air preheaters, desulfurization devices, and tobacco industry kilns, etc.
