Scope

1.1.1 Overview
Replacement:
This part applies to single-motor drum-type tumble dryers for general household and similar use, intended to be placed against a wall on the floor, installed or placed on a countertop, kitchen worktop, or under a sink, or mounted on a wall or a countertop. Given the purpose of this part, when a drum-type washing and drying machine is used as a tumble dryer, it shall be treated as a drum-type tumble dryer.
The limitations of the testing methods are described in 1.1.1 of GB/T 4214.1—2000.
