Scope
This document specifies the symbols, classification, models, specifications, and technical requirements of zinc-10% aluminum-rare earth alloy-plated steel wire (hereinafter referred to as "steel wire") for bridge cables, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to steel wire used in load-bearing cables such as main cables and hanging cables of suspension bridges, stay cables of cable-stayed bridges, hanging cables of arch bridges, and tie rods of arch bridges. Steel wire used in cables of other structures can be used as a reference.
