Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of infrared bulbs (hereinafter referred to as "bulbs"). This standard applies to infrared bulbs with a colorless transparent window, operating at a supply voltage of 220 V/50 Hz and with a power not exceeding 275 W, used for heating, industrial drying, medical purposes, livestock breeding, and vegetable cultivation.
