Abstract
This standard specifies the terminology and definitions of bars, basic bar utensils, basic beverage configurations, environmental and equipment safety requirements, hygiene requirements, basic requirements for bar service personnel, bartender knowledge and skill requirements, service processes and norms for bar personnel, and institutional norms.
This standard applies to catering service establishments primarily providing on-the-spot consumption of alcoholic beverages.
