Scope
This document describes the measurement parameters, test environment, testing instruments, testing methods, and reporting requirements for noise measurement of air coolers (air-cooled heat exchangers). This document is applicable to the noise measurement of air-induced air coolers with horizontal or inclined tube bundles, including dry-type, wet-type, and dry-wet hybrid air coolers, both at the factory and on-site after installation.
