GB/T 45284.16-2025 Information technology—Extensible biometric data interchange formats—Part 16:Full body image data

Scope

This document provides a universal and scalable full-body image data format for biometric identification applications that require the exchange of full-body image data. Typical applications include:
a) Automated human biometric verification and identification of unknown individuals or corpses (one-to-one or one-to-many comparisons);
b) Supporting manual identity verification by comparing individuals with full-body images;
c) Enabling inspectors to verify identities or distinguish between living and deceased individuals by examining full-body images with sufficient resolution.
This document is applicable to full-body images and image sequence data generated by video surveillance and other similar systems for identity identification and verification.
The data format structure of this document is compatible with ISO/IEC 39794-5. In addition to the data format, this document also specifies application-specific configuration files, including scene constraints, photo attributes, and digital image properties such as image spatial sampling rate and image size. These application configuration files are included in a series of appendices.
This document does not apply to 3D encoding types such as "3D point cloud mapping images" and "depth images".
