GB/T 28026.2-2018 Railway applications—Fixed installations—Electrical safety, earthing and the return circuit—Part 2:Provisions against the effects of stray currents caused by d.c. traction systems
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 28026 specifies the requirements for the protection against stray current in DC traction power supply systems. It applies to all metallic fixed devices within traction power supply systems, as well as other metallic components in rail transit systems buried in the ground through which stray current flows. It is applicable to all newly built DC power supply lines, and can also be applied to existing electrified lines and the renovation and transformation of existing lines that require consideration of the impact of stray current. Its scope of application includes: -- Railways; -- Guided public transportation systems, such as: trams, elevated and underground railways, mountain railways, trolleybus systems, and magnetic levitation systems equipped with contact networks or contact rails; -- Material transport systems. This part is not applicable to: -- Underground mine traction power supply systems; -- Cranes, rail-guided transport platforms and similar transport equipment, temporary buildings (such as exhibition structures), as these facilities currently have no precedent of being powered by contact networks and will not be affected by traction power supply systems; -- Suspended cable cars; -- Cable-way railways. This part does not specify maintenance operation procedures.
