Scope
This standard specifies the selection and design requirements related to vehicles, installation technical requirements, usage requirements, and inspection for vehicle-mounted lifting tailboards (hereinafter referred to as tailboards). This standard applies to: -- vans and Class O3 and O4 semi-trailers that have the vehicle-mounted lifting tailboards installed before registration; -- the aforementioned vehicles that have the vehicle-mounted lifting tailboards installed after registration, in accordance with the design specifications and requirements of the vehicle manufacturers or by units authorized by them.
