DB14/ 1703-2019 DB14/ 1703-2019 Emissions standards for atmospheric pollutants from coal-fired power plants

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of air pollutant emission standards for coal-fired power plants, emission control requirements, pollutant monitoring requirements, compliance determination, and implementation and supervision. This standard applies to the management of air pollutant emissions from existing coal-fired power plants within the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province, as well as the environmental impact assessments, environmental protection facility designs, and completion environmental protection acceptance of new, modified, and expanded projects for coal-fired power plants. This standard applies to coal-fired power generation boilers with a single output of more than 65 t/h, except for stoker-fired boilers and thrower boilers; pulverized coal power generation boilers of various capacities; and power generation boilers with a single output of more than 65 t/h that use fuels such as coal gangue, sludge, and washed middle coal, or mainly burn coal while mixing other fuels. This standard applies to pollutant emission behaviors permitted by law. The siting of newly established pollution sources and the management of existing pollution sources within special protection areas shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of laws, regulations, and rules such as the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China and the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China.
