TSG R6001-2011 Examination requirements for safety administrator and operator of pressure vessel

Scope

Article I: In order to standardize the assessment work of safety managers and operators of pressure vessels and ensure the safe operation of pressure vessels, this outline is formulated in accordance with the "Supervision and Management Measures for Special Equipment Operators" and the "Assessment Rules for Special Equipment Operators". Article II: Safety managers and operators of pressure vessels refer to personnel engaged in pressure vessel safety technology, safety management, and direct operation work in pressure vessel-using units within the scope stipulated in the "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment". The consequences of their management and operation behaviors may affect the safe operation of pressure vessels. Among them, personnel engaged in pressure-sealing operations, maintenance and management of medical oxygen chambers, and gas cylinder filling operations shall be assessed in accordance with the requirements of the corresponding assessment outlines. Article III: Pressure vessel operators are divided into two categories: fixed pressure vessel operators and mobile pressure vessel operators. Safety managers of pressure vessels are not classified. Operators of fixed pressure vessels who need to obtain the "Special Equipment Operator Certificate" shall be determined by the pressure vessel-using units, but it must be ensured that during the operation of the equipment, the shift (group) leaders and personnel engaged in pressure vessel operations hold the "Special Equipment Operator Certificate". Operators of mobile air compressors, air storage tanks, and vehicle-used containers in simple pressure vessels do not need to obtain the "Special Equipment Operator Certificate".
