Scope

This document specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of multi-layer co-extruded barrier films for packaging (hereinafter referred to as co-extruded films).
This document applies to multi-layer co-extruded barrier films with barrier properties, produced by co-extrusion using oxygen-barrier resins such as ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), polyamide (PA), and other resins, with a thickness of 0.02 mm to 0.30 mm.
