Scope

This document specifies the technical performance requirements, test methods, operational performance requirements, and marking and documentation for the liquid spectral identification system (hereinafter referred to as the "system") in transparent and semi-transparent containers. The system is based on the method of inelastic (Raman) light scattering of molecules.
This document applies to fixed or handheld systems.
Note 1: The tests mentioned in this document do not involve the system's geometric parameters and quality parameters (weight).
This document applies to standards for substance identification tests and the verification, approval, and operating procedures of the system.
This document applies to the verification of Raman analyzers with functions such as safety screening of dangerous goods, medical solution testing, and liquid chemical inspection.
