GB/T 36450.5-2021 Information technology—Storage management—Part 5:File systems

Scope

This document specifies the management of autonomous (top-level) configuration files for procedures and devices, with the core function being to provide support for and access to file data. Additionally, this document provides configuration files (or sub-configuration files) for components that handle file systems and management interfaces, which may be used by other autonomous configuration files not included in this document.
The informative appendix of this document describes how to map storage from block storage to file system-output file sharing and the mechanisms involved in establishing these mappings. An overview of how the file system model works is provided in Appendix A.
This document contains two autonomous configuration files.
——NAS head configuration file: This configuration file specifies the model and functions of the NAS device, which exports file sharing to remote users and obtains its storage from the SAN (array devices attached to the NAS head device).
——Self-contained NAS configuration file: This configuration file defines the model and functions of the NAS device, which exports file sharing to remote users but obtains its storage resources from the disk drives within the NAS device (rather than externally connected arrays).
This document also specifies a large number of component configuration files. These components are used by autonomous NAS configuration files and may also be used by other autonomous configuration files that describe file system principles and service characteristics. The component configuration files (from the configuration file) included in this document are as follows.
——File export (component) configuration file: This component configuration file defines elements for modeling the export of a file system or directory for any autonomous configuration file, which exports file data to a remote system.
