Scope

This document describes the changes in the storage modulus and loss modulus of plastics under torsion testing mode with respect to temperature, using the methods of linear dynamic mechanical properties of plastics (Method A and Method B) within the frequency range of 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz and under small strain conditions. Note: By measuring the relationship between the storage modulus, loss modulus, and temperature over a sufficiently wide temperature range (-50 ℃ to 150 ℃), we can obtain information about the transition states of polymers (such as the glass transition and melting transition), and also provide information about initial plastic flow. This document is not applicable to asymmetric laminates (see GB/T 33061.3) and rubber (see GB/T 9870.2).
