Scope

This document describes the method for testing the complex compression modulus E* and compression loss factor of polymers under non-resonant compression vibration modes of 0.01 Hz to 100 Hz. The test object is semi-rigid polymers with a measurement range of 1 MPa to 1 GPa for dynamic compression energy storage modulus, and their shapes are straight prisms, cylinders, or tubes.
This document is suitable for studying the complex compression modulus of semi-rigid plastics, and it is also applicable to researching the dynamic characteristics of semi-rigid plastics in the glass transition region as a function of temperature and frequency.
