GB/T 15613-2023 Hydraulic turbines,storage pumps and pump-turbines model acceptance tests

Scope

This document is applicable to impact and reaction hydraulic turbines, storage pumps, and pump-turbines tested under laboratory conditions.
This document is applicable to models corresponding to prototypes with a unit power greater than 5 MW or a nominal diameter greater than 3 m. It is generally not appropriate to fully apply the procedures specified in this document to hydraulic turbines with smaller unit power or nominal diameter. However, if both the supplier and the buyer agree, such hydraulic machinery can also be implemented according to this document.
In this document, the term "hydraulic turbine" includes pump-turbines operating as hydraulic turbines, and the term "pump" includes pump-turbines operating as pumps.
Except for matters related to testing, this document does not include matters of pure commercial interest.
As long as the structure or components of the machinery do not affect the performance of the model or the relationship between the model and the prototype, this document does not address the detailed structure of hydraulic machinery or the mechanical performance of its components.
This document specifies the matters related to the model acceptance test for verifying whether the main hydraulic performance of hydraulic turbines, storage pumps, and pump-turbines meets the contractual guarantee values (see 4.2).
If there are any objections to any step of the test, please refer to this document, which contains the rules for conducting the test and describes the measurement methods adopted.
The main purposes of this document are:

——Specify the test methods and measurement parameters involved for determining the hydraulic performance of the model;
——Specify the calculation methods for the results and the comparison methods with the guarantee values;
