Scope
This document specifies the requirements, markings, and usage instructions for single-use medical protective masks (hereinafter referred to as "masks"), as well as their packaging and storage, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to self-sucking filter masks (half-face masks) used in medical work environments to filter airborne particles and block droplets, blood, body fluids, secretions, etc. This document does not apply to masks used to protect against any chemical gases and vapors.
