GB/T 43562-2023 Code of practice for livestock and poultry slaughtering operation—Sheep and goat
Abstract
This document establishes the sheep slaughtering process, specifies the operating instructions for the procedures of stunning, hanging, slaughtering and bleeding, skinning or scalding, depilating, removing heads and hooves, removing internal organs, carcass trimming, and processing by-products, and describes the traceability methods for each stage of operation. This document is applicable to the slaughtering operations of sheep slaughterhouses (sites).
