GB/T 5513-2019 Inspection of grain and oils—Determination of reduced sugar and non-reduced sugar in grain
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions for the determination of reducing sugars and non-reducing sugars in grain, as well as the principles, reagents, instruments and equipment, operating procedures, result calculation, and reproducibility of two methods for determining reducing sugars and non-reducing sugars: the potassium ferricyanide method and the Fehling's reagent method. This standard is applicable to the determination of reducing sugars and non-reducing sugars in commercial grain, where the potassium ferricyanide method is mainly suitable for the determination of reducing sugars and non-reducing sugars in wheat flour.
