Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for α-amylase preparations.
This standard applies to the production, inspection, and sales of α-amylase preparations made from starch (or sugar) as raw materials through fermentation and purification. They are mainly used in the food industry and textile industry, etc. Other sources of α-amylase preparations can be used as reference for related categories, and α-amylase preparations used as feed additives can be implemented in accordance with Category A products.
