Scope

This part of GB/T 21283 describes the sealing elements as rotating shaft labyrinth sealing rings made of thermoplastic materials. The sealing elements are based on thermoplastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and are manufactured with appropriate fitting methods. This part establishes the vocabulary for sealing elements as rotating shaft labyrinth sealing rings made of thermoplastic materials. Some of the terms and definitions are provided in GB/T 17446-1998.
