Scope

This part of GB/T 13871 defines the terminology for rotating shaft labyrinth seals made of elastomeric materials, with some terms and definitions provided in GB/T 17446. This part applies to rotating shaft labyrinth seals (hereinafter referred to as seals) used under low-pressure conditions (with air-side pressure at atmospheric pressure and liquid-side pressure ranging from 0 kPa to 30 kPa above atmospheric pressure) (see Clause 6.1 of ISO 61941:2007).
