Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for compaction machinery and all major hazards, dangerous conditions, and events that may occur under the intended use and reasonably foreseeable misuse conditions. This standard supplements the specific requirements for compaction machinery on the basis of GB 26504. This standard is used in conjunction with GB 26504. The specific requirements of this standard take precedence over the general requirements of GB 26504. This standard applies to vibratory plate compactors and vibratory impact compactors.
