Scope
This standard specifies the performance requirements for single-ended or double-ended halogen lamps with a rated voltage of less than 250 V, which are used for the following purposes:
——Projection (including film projection and static projectors);
——Photography (including those used in photography studios);
——Floodlighting;
——Special purposes;
——General purposes;
——Stage lighting.
Some of the requirements of this standard are given in the "Related Lamp Parameter Table". For some lamps, this standard lists their parameter tables. For other lamps included in the scope of this standard, the parameters of the lamps shall be provided by the manufacturers or sellers of the lamps.
