GB/T 14196.2-2023 Incandescent lamps—Safety specifications—Part 2:Tungsten halogen lamps for domestic and similar general lighting purposes

Scope

This document specifies the safety and interchangeability requirements for halogen lamps used in general lighting, including halogen lamps that directly replace traditional tungsten lamps and new types of halogen lamps not covered by GB/T 14196.1-2023. The safety and interchangeability requirements for these halogen lamps specified in this document must be used in conjunction with the provisions of GB/T 14196.1-2023. This document specifies the photobiological safety requirements in accordance with IEC 62471. The lamps specified in this document do not meet the risk level of the risk category marking. This document applies to halogen lamps with the following characteristics: -- Rated power of up to 250 W (inclusive); -- Rated voltage between 50 V and 250 V (inclusive); -- Lamp base types: B15d, B22d, E12, E14, E17, E26, E26d, E25/50×39, E27, or E27/51×39. Lamps that meet the requirements of this document are self-shielded, but do not need to be marked with special symbols. Since they directly replace traditional tungsten lamps, there are no corresponding luminaire markings for them either.
