Scope
This document describes the analytical method for determining the chemical components such as silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, and magnesium oxide in refractory materials using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICPAES).
This document is applicable to silica-alumina refractory materials, zirconium-containing refractory materials, magnesia-based refractory materials, and carbon-containing refractory materials, as well as other refractory material raw materials and products. The detection limit and measurement range of the method are shown in Table 1.
