Scope

This standard specifies the symbols and codes of the car bodies of urban rail transit vehicles, general requirements, technical requirements for various components and assembly of car bodies, car body materials and allowable stress, evaluation of car body structure functions, car body loads, car body inspection rules, quality assurance, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage, etc.
This standard applies to metro vehicles, linear motor vehicles, straddle-type monorail transit vehicles, low-floor trams, and medium- and low-speed maglev transit vehicles with a maximum operating speed of no more than 120 km/h as specified in CJJ/T 114. Other types of urban rail transit vehicles may refer to this standard for implementation.
